I had the most amazing stay at Apurvi Homestay in Ella! the room was fantastic , it was brand new and impeccably clean, with a comfortable bed, mosquito net, and a cozy blanket. the shower had hot water and there were fresh towels provided. the best part was the balcony right in front of our room, offering a breathtaking view of Ella Rock and the beautiful sunrise in the morning. the hosts, a lovely couple, were absolutely incredible. They took care of everything, from washing our clothes to serving us a delicious breakfast every morning , fresh fruits, eggs, pancakes, toast. And in the evening, they treated us to an outstanding Sri Lankan dinner with six different curries. the husband even went out of his way to help us secure bus tickets on an air, conditioned bus when the train was on strike. I highly recommend this beautiful homestay. Cons: Couldn't find any faults at all. 👍.

I recently stayed at Apurvi Homestay for a few nights during my trip to Sri Lanka. From the moment I arrived, the kindness and hospitality of Melanie and Sanjeewa made me feel right at home. The room was cozy and clean, with a comfortable canopy bed and a spotless attached bathroom. The view from the terrace was breathtaking, surrounded by tea plants and trees. The owners went above and beyond to ensure a perfect stay, offering delicious meals and helping with transportation arrangements. It truly was a home away from home experience.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

The hosts, Sanjeewa and Melanie, were cute and made me feel right at home. They cooked the most delicious traditional Sri Lankan meals, a treat for my taste buds. The view from the homestay was amazing, especially at sunrise. The hosts even provided me with a budget tuk tuk for convenient transportation. It was so thoughtful of them to lend me a phone so I could call for the tuk tuk whenever I needed it, as I didn't have a SIM card. The location of the homestay, although a bit challenging to find at first, was worth every effort. The serene surroundings and beautiful scenery, including waterfalls and Ella's rock, made it the ideal place for nature lovers like me. The cleanliness of the room was perfect, and the hosts took pride in ensuring everything was super clean, even cleaning the mattress. I highly recommend Apurvi Homestay for its fantastic location, warm hospitality, and delicious food. It was a nice stay.

The value for money at this homestay was excellent and the room was great with all the necessary amenities. The location, although a bit secluded, offered amazing views and a peaceful escape from the bustling city. The staff treated me like family, arranged tuk tuks, helping with activities, and even providing a local mobile phone for communication.
The only thing that could make the morning meal even better would be to have a menu provided in the room.
